Agreements for the new pension

Social partners and employers made agreements for the new pension. For example, which pension scheme you will receive. They will document these agreements in a transition plan. You will find this transition plan on this page later in 2025.

We test the transition plans

We are currently testing whether the transition plans are complete and meet all requirements. That will take time. You will therefore find the detailed agreements about your new pension on this page later in 2025.

Most participants of Pensioenfonds PGB receive a solidary contribution scheme

In the new pension scheme, there are 2 types of contribution schemes: a solidary contribution scheme and a flexible contribution scheme. Most social partners and employers opted for the solidary contribution scheme.

What will your scheme be?

  • If your company falls into a sector that is affiliated with Pensioenfonds PGB, you will receive a solidary contribution scheme. This was agreed by the social partners of the sectors.
  • If your employer makes his own pension arrangements, ask your employer which scheme you will receive.

(Former) employer no longer exists

Does your old employer no longer exist and did you work in an industry that was not mandated to be affiliated? In that case, the current rules will continue to apply to your pension. In other words, no new pension scheme will be agreed for you. That is why there is no transition plan in that case. Did you work in one of the mandatory industries? In that case, the industry will make agreements about the new pension.
