Early February this year, we investigated what participants know about the new pension. And what they thought about it. About 20,000 participants took part. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated for their help!
The image that participants currently have of the new pension is still mixed. Most participants do know that pensions are going to change. For example, that pensions will fluctuate with the economy. And that under the new pension scheme you will still receive your pension for as long as you live. Many people are showing confidence in the new pension. They already have a good idea of the new pension and believe that communication about this is clear. However, there are also people who are uncertain about the new pension and don't yet know what to expect.
The results of the survey help us to tailor communication about the new pension to the knowledge and needs of our participants. We will be repeating the knowledge survey several times in the coming years. This allows us to closely monitor what our participants know about the new pension, what their needs are and how we can adapt our communication accordingly.
