Marièle Poot joined the supervisory board of Pensioenfonds PGB. Together with the existing members Han Noten (chairman) and Alfred Slager, she will internally supervise the affairs of the pension fund.
Marièle Poot: “We’re on the eve of a major change in our pension system. This means that Pensioenfonds PGB must prepare and guide its participants and employers in terms of what this means for them. PGB does this through careful administration, now, before, during and after the transition and by communicating about it in a comprehensible manner at all times. In my role, I see whether the decisions made by the board contribute to this.”
Marièle Poot is currently working as a pension administration manager at Pensioenfonds Rail & OV. In this role, she is responsible for the new organisational strategy and operational management with a view to (future) laws and regulations. She also advises the board and the social partners on the implementation of policy.
Before this, Marièle Poot worked in various positions in the pension and insurance industries. She was responsible, among other things, for improving customer service in order to increase customer satisfaction. She guided transitions from a product to a market and (digital) customer-oriented organisation. In her work, her view is from the outside in and she believes everything she does must add customer value.
Marièle Poot (1966) is married, has four children and lives in Montfoort.
